So how was it the summer Olympics in Beijing? The Chinese did a really great job hosting the event and we are looking forward to the next Olympics 4 years later in London. I kindda wonder how London can make the next Olympics be as big and as elegant as what Beijing has done when only 1 third of the money is allowed to be used next time.

And don’t forget that the next Olympics in 2012 in London is the first time for FEMALE BOXING to enter the Olympic Games. It’s going to be really great!

Today I’m here with the result of the boxing event! Take a look!

The finals were scheduled in two days the 23rd and the 24th of August. Here are the result of all boxing bouts.
Super Heavyweight (+91 kg) Roberto Cammarelle from Italy beated Zhilei Zhang from China, referee stopped the contest in the 4th round.

Light Heavyweight (81 kg) The winner is Xiaoping Zhang from the host, China by defeating Kenny Egan from Ireland 11 to 7.

Welterweight (69 kg) The Kazakhstan, Bakhyt Sarsekbayav won over Carlos Banteaux Suarez from Cuba by 18 to 9.

Lightweight (60 kg) Alexey Tischenko from Russia defeated Daouda Sow from France by 11 to 9.

Bantamweight (54 kg) Badar-Uugan Enkhbat from Mongolia beated Yankiel Leon Alarcon from Cuba by 16 to 5.

Light Flyweight (48 kg) The Chinese, Shiming Zou won over the Mongolian, Serdamba Purevdori who retired in the 2nd round.

One the 23rd there are 5 matches which are:
Heavyweight (91 kg) the winner is Rakhim Chakhkiev from Russia. He won over Clemente Russo from Italy by 4 to 2.

Middleweight (75 kg) James Degale from Great Britain defeated Emilio Correa Bayeaux from Cuba by 16-14.

Light Welterweight (64 kg) Felix Diaz from Dominican Republic won over Manus Boonjamnong from my country Thailand, too bad by 12 to 4. We don’t blame him!

Featherweight (57 kg) Vasyl Lomachenko from Ukraine defeated Khedafi Djelkhir from France, referee stopped the contest in the 1st round.

And the last here the first Final match and the first Gold Medal of Boxing of this Olympics is belong to the Flyweight boxer from Thailand, Somjit Jongjohor who won over Andris Laffita Hernandez from Cuba 8 to 2.

Do your best London! We all are looking forward to it!

There are 11 boxing events corresponding to a recognized weight division of male (only…again) boxer. But this is the last Olympic boxing competition that excludes women. So watch out the next Olympics in London (2012), the first female boxing events will be introduced.

Only a few day from now until the big match between Margarito and Cotto. I’m sure you’re looking for this great 12 round WBA welterweight title bout. So today I’m here to talk a little bit about one of these two: Antonio Margarito.

28-year-old Margarito is originally from Tijuana, Mexico. This famous fighter is now the former IBF and WBO Welterweight champion. And as you know, he is ready to give himself another title this Saturday.

One of his best wins is when he knocked out Puerto Rican Kermit Cintron, one of the unbeatable world class boxers 3 years ago and retained his WBO world Welterweight title.

His boxing record of 42 total fights is 36 wins with 26 KOs, 5 losses and 1 no contest.

Following his successful rematch with Cintron (he KO Cintron in the sixth round on April 12), the IBF ordered him to fight a mandatory defense against the organization’s number-one contender, Joshua Clottey, who Margarito had previously defeated a couple years ago. Rather than agreeing to a rematch with Clottey, Margarito vacated the IBF title and agreed to fight with WBA titlist Miguel Cotto from Puerto Rico in the next three days.

If you’re his fan, don’t miss this match. It will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 26. You can watch it from pay-per-view broadcasted by HBO at 9 pm ET/ 6pm PT (suggested retail price of $49.95).

Where do you mostly go to watch awesome Muay Thai clips? Let me guess, YouTube.com. If you’re really familiar with YouTube, you might have already seen this clip I’m presenting today. I chose this vdo because it is a great collection of Muay Thai moves that were used for real in the ring. You gotta understand that there are some forbidden that are too hard or too dangerous.

So our MuayThaiSport.com/blog will today introduce you to a great video called “the world of Muay Thai”. Let’s take a look.

The World of Muay Thai clip from YouTube.com

Amazing kicks, weren’t they? Those techniques are really really tough. And don’t try it at home, or with the one you love. I gotta warn you.

However, the person who can box good, don’t need to know just the techniques but also how to use them properly and wisely. Many great MuayThai fighters are really smart (when fighting at least). I wanna give you an example. Namkabuan “The Ring Genius” Nongeepayahut is an idol. Lots of new thaiboxing students want to fight as smart as he does. He didn’t get that nickname without a proper reason you know. Let’s take a look at how he fights. And by the way thanks to whoever made this vid, good music.

Namkabuan “The Ring Genius” Nongeepayahut High Light from YouTube.com

He is an awesome fighter. It would be cool to meet him in personal with respect. At 6:32 was pretty tough, wasn’t it haha. Anyway, in many people opinions, Namkabuan is one hell of a smart boxer, smarter than some of the other traditional Thai legends you might have known.

Alright… I hope you enjoyed the two videos. You can visit us next time for more cool clips. In case you want to tell us which one you like, please do, so I can post it here to share with others. Thank you for sticking with us today.

Who never heard of Pattaya before? I believe whoever have heard the name of Thailand and know where it is and don’t confuse it with Taiwan, will definitely know Pattaya. It’s one in the most famous beaches in Thailand. Well not only just the beach that make it famous, but also it is a great place for arranging any kind of events and festivals.

It’s also another home of Fairtex Muay Thai boxing club. And of course taking about Fairtex, I hope you still remember the former the Contender Asia winner, Yodsanklai. So instead of just talking about Pattaya, I also have a vdo clip of Yodsanklai’s first round KO in Pattaya. Take a look.

Yodsanklai KO fight in Pattaya clip from YouTube.com

Ok…Back to what this article is about. Why lots of people love Pattaya so much? Well if you have been there you know that the beach there can’t even compare to Phuket’s or PP’s. What really makes Pattaya well known is the fun people can get once they visit this city.

Most of the people in Pattaya are tourists. You can hardly find any locals on the street, except in restaurants or bars or clubs and yeah at Fairtex. It can’t even compare with Bangkok. It’s just different.

Pattaya is a great choice for you if you’re looking for a city in nature. Because in one place you have both things; a somewhat “we got everything you need” beach.

So…I’ve been talking about it for a while but you might not get its picture yet. It’s might be hard to imagine what Thailand’s beaches and cities are like. And what it’s gonna happen if these two mix up. Why don’t you take a look at this presentation of pattaya and listen to this Pattaya song. I hope this makes you want to come check out the place.

Hi guys! If you’ve been familiar with us and our blog enough you will know that today we’ll post an awesome video clip of some kind of martial arts. So today’s clip as named in the title of this article is about Worlds Greatest Fighting Compilation! Hundreds of thousand people watched this. Something to help make your day even better. Take a look! Warning the vid is for whoever loves violence.

Worlds Greatest Fighting Compilation VDO from YouTube.com

So what do you think? Too CRAZY!!! I think that was like the greatest fighting vid in the world. Perfect music and fights even though these are the fights without brains and hearts! The best of the no-mercy brutality of MMA captured, just like animal fight, actually this shouldn’t be call a martial arts at all, nothing art there man! However the great combination in a vid even make it more exciting and make me enjoy more. This might make you think that UFC is better than other forms of fighting. Well but not me, I’m still the biggest Muay Thai fan. Anyway back to this clip, one question for all my blog viewers, which punch is the best here? At 2:19 or 2:45 or what else?

For me this is one of the best fighting video EVER! Tell us what you think about it. Good? Or too sick to watch? Hey not every one like to see two dudes beating themselves up and kicking each other in the face (I wonder, did that guy lives?). Just think it’s another type of show.

Come back to our MuayThaiSport.com/blog everyday for all the new things we’d like to share with you.
