Magic Man

Thursday, July 17th, 2008

It’s time for another great boxing movie that we say that you don’t want to miss. Today’s film is a true story of the Magic Man. This is a documentary film that won the prestigious “Best of the Festival Audience Award” from the Hoboken International Film Festival.

It is the true story of the Magic Man or Paul “Paulie” Malignaggi, a professional boxer from Brooklyn, New York. Young Paulie from a broken home wants to prove his life worth something. He defeats all odds to arrive at the Mecca of boxing. He has proved that everyone else is wrong and has won the WBO Junior Welterweight Title.

In the film, Malignaggi is like a gym rat. He works hard and come from the bottom up and never back down. You can also see that he cannot be rattled by his opponents.

I believe this movie is such an inspiration. It’s full of disappointment, failure, and triumph. The film does cheer people up to fight more for their better lives and worth living. He is also a gifted fighter who many boxers look at as their role model.

I really recommend you to see this film when you get a chance. I am sure that you will agree that this is one best boxing film ever made.

Don’t forget to come back to our website and blog to check out some more interesting films that involve all types of boxing. You can also tell us about your favorite boxing movie so we can share with the others. See you next time.

The World of Muay Thai

Wednesday, June 18th, 2008

Where do you mostly go to watch awesome Muay Thai clips? Let me guess, YouTube.com. If you’re really familiar with YouTube, you might have already seen this clip I’m presenting today. I chose this vdo because it is a great collection of Muay Thai moves that were used for real in the ring. You gotta understand that there are some forbidden that are too hard or too dangerous.

So our MuayThaiSport.com/blog will today introduce you to a great video called “the world of Muay Thai”. Let’s take a look.

The World of Muay Thai clip from YouTube.com

Amazing kicks, weren’t they? Those techniques are really really tough. And don’t try it at home, or with the one you love. I gotta warn you.

However, the person who can box good, don’t need to know just the techniques but also how to use them properly and wisely. Many great MuayThai fighters are really smart (when fighting at least). I wanna give you an example. Namkabuan “The Ring Genius” Nongeepayahut is an idol. Lots of new thaiboxing students want to fight as smart as he does. He didn’t get that nickname without a proper reason you know. Let’s take a look at how he fights. And by the way thanks to whoever made this vid, good music.

He is an awesome fighter. It would be cool to meet him in personal with respect. At 6:32 was pretty tough, wasn’t it haha. Anyway, in many people opinions, Namkabuan is one hell of a smart boxer, smarter than some of the other traditional Thai legends you might have known.

Alright… I hope you enjoyed the two videos. You can visit us next time for more cool clips. In case you want to tell us which one you like, please do, so I can post it here to share with others. Thank you for sticking with us today.
