For kids, there are separate class groups that focus on the right techniques, respect, discipline and fun. The techniques that these kids will learn are combination of a little bit of everything, from Muay Thai, Karate and boxing. MMA Gloves

Wednesday, July 16th, 2008

Hi! Have you ever wonder what the difference between boxing gloves and MMA gloves is. Today in MuayThaiSport.com/blog, we will tell you all about it.

MMA gloves are used in mixed martial arts bouts. They are open-fingered grappling gloves that will allow the user to grab the opponent while fighting. MMA gloves are not considered boxing gloves and you can use them in any boxing matches.

Similar to the wrist-supporting, closed-thumb, broken-knuckle kempo gloves popularized by Bruce Lee’s in his movie “Enter the Dragon”, they provide some padding to the person wearing the gloves, but leave the fingers available for intricate wrestling and grappling maneuvers such as clinch fighting, which are illegal in modern boxing.(information from Wikipedia.com)

If you haven’t seen ones, take a look and our MMA gloves from our store here.

Worlds Greatest Fighting!

Monday, June 9th, 2008

Hi guys! If you’ve been familiar with us and our blog enough you will know that today we’ll post an awesome video clip of some kind of martial arts. So today’s clip as named in the title of this article is about Worlds Greatest Fighting Compilation! Hundreds of thousand people watched this. Something to help make your day even better. Take a look! Warning the vid is for whoever loves violence.

Worlds Greatest Fighting Compilation VDO from YouTube.com

So what do you think? Too CRAZY!!! I think that was like the greatest fighting vid in the world. Perfect music and fights even though these are the fights without brains and hearts! The best of the no-mercy brutality of MMA captured, just like animal fight, actually this shouldn’t be call a martial arts at all, nothing art there man! However the great combination in a vid even make it more exciting and make me enjoy more. This might make you think that UFC is better than other forms of fighting. Well but not me, I’m still the biggest Muay Thai fan. Anyway back to this clip, one question for all my blog viewers, which punch is the best here? At 2:19 or 2:45 or what else?

For me this is one of the best fighting video EVER! Tell us what you think about it. Good? Or too sick to watch? Hey not every one like to see two dudes beating themselves up and kicking each other in the face (I wonder, did that guy lives?). Just think it’s another type of show.

Come back to our MuayThaiSport.com/blog everyday for all the new things we’d like to share with you.

BCS: Box Club Seitenwechsel

Friday, June 6th, 2008

Before I start, this boxing club I’m talking about today is only for girls! So if you are a guy, well sure you can stick with us today and get to know more about this club.

I found this while I was trying to locate some gyms in Germany. Well lucky me I found this instead. Anyway if you go to its website at www.frauenamateurboxen.de (women amateur boxing), you can find information about amateur boxing and you can get to know more about the club.

So are you ready to take a tour? Here is what I found:

If you want to join the club? First, you gotta be a woman of course. All age accepted! As far as I know, the current students’ ages range from 10 to 53. Great thing about boxing, you can’t never be to young or to old to start learning. (I mean if you consider it is another way to exercise, I said nothing about fighting in a ring here ok?). So basically, all you need is just a nerve to start boxing, no experience or loads of experiences all welcomed.

Membership costs only 21€ per month for adults, and 5€ for girls under 18. Not such a bad deal actually, it’s less than the amount you pay to any other gyms. But the only disadvantage here is that training hours are only on Mondays from 7 pm and Thursdays from 7.30 pm. So if you have quite tight schedule, you may not be able to go to the training.

But you can give it a try though, go test their training class for free! Just bring your cloths and water and they got the rest of the training equipment right there for you.

For more info, email to info@frauenamateurboxen.de or log on to the website herein above and go to contact form. Enjoy!
