Sunday, July 20th, 2008

Welcome to our blog site! I was researching on some great fighters out there. And that is when I realize that there are a lot of boxer ranking websites and I don’t know which one I can really trust. And I found this website called IBF-USBA Boxing – Rankings.

It is the official site of the International Boxing Federation. The IBF is a voluntary association managed and organized by representatives of various athletic commissions for the idea of earning more efficiency and standardization in the administration of professional boxing.

The IBF-USBA promulgates rules, establishes champions and prepares monthly ranking of contenders which are constantly updated online.

So in this website, you can go and download the rules, such as, contests rules, bout rules and championship rules. You can also check the latest ranking from IBF (International Boxing Federation) and from USBA ratings (United States Boxing Association).

If you want to become a membership of this association, you can visit the website at www.ibf-usba-boxing.com and download the application form.

I find this site really useful. It’s very educational if you want to become a professional in Boxing, you will need to know this stuff. They are good stuff and you won’t regret to know.

Sunday, June 22nd, 2008

Welcome to MuayThaiSport.com/blog! Another week has passed. Now it’s time for another great MuayThai website. The one I’m presenting you today is not actually officially from Thailand. Muaythai Online.org is based in the UK. It is the first muaytai gateway to Thai Boxing.

The site’s purpose is to provide all Muay Thai latest news and other interesting information about it from all over the world. Just one stop at MuayThaiOnline.org you’ll get pretty much everything you need about Muay Thai and keep yourself updated.

Not only MuayThai stuff, this site also gives a variety of information about other martial arts from Thailand. Apart from news, you can check out other features, such as, thaiboxing videos, Muay Thai articles, muaythai fighters’ interviews, fight reports, results , club and many more.

IMO, this site is quite educational. From what I see here, most of the information is knowledge about Muay Thai and maybe the other types of Thai martial arts, for instance Krabi Krabong.

Muhammad Ali

Wednesday, May 28th, 2008

Everybody still remember this great American boxer of all time. He is a former three times World Heavyweight Champion and a winner of an Olympic Light-heavyweight gold medal. From 61 fights he won 56 (by KO 37) and lost only 5 times.

Ali was best recognized for his style which he described as “Float like a butter fly, sting like a bee”. His movement in the ring is like a dance. He’s fast, sharp, tough and full of tactics. Take a look at the Rumble in the Jungle. Enjoy the clip!

Muhammad Ali VS George Foreman VDO from YouTube.com

This vid shows how incredible Ali was. At first Ali was just getting his butt kicked. But then later on he came back with his great power that you or neither one didn’t expect. Outstanding! There was no rematch after this fight because Foreman was too depressed after losing his belt to Ali.

Right now I wanna introduce you to his official website at www.ali.com. Go to the site and have a Life Chat with Ali! There you can buy many Ali’s products for yourself and his fans.
