iBN Sports covers everything in sports that traditional television has overlooked!

Do you really believe you will see anything on TV? Well if that’s true, this company wouldn’t be such a successful business. A website that captures those events that currently go unseen, which doesn’t mean it’s no good but maybe lack of supply. Right in this website you will see all types of sports you wish to see games from places like school athletic programming until club sports, from individual to team to league play…

“It’s not just the game! While the “game” is what attracts fans to the venue, any sports enthusiast will attest that the “story” behind the game is what breathes life into the events we watch, providing it with depth and dimension. The flesh and blood drama of the human spirit rising to meet the challenges, the joy of victory, the heartache of defeat…it’s these stories that keep fans coming back for more. iBN Sports has the unique ability to deliver those compelling stories through live, multiple interactive video screens, real time interviews and unique cutting edge content.”

Interactive Broadcast Network (iBN) Sports is the first Internet-based broadcast sports television network. It has become more and more popular among internet and sports crazed consumers. While television networks will continue to provide their portioned coverage of sporting events, this coverage will arguable represent a fraction of the sports programming that can and will be streamed over the Internet to fans across the globe.

Monday, September 22nd, 2008

Welcome to our blog. It’s time to you one good boxing website. Today’s site will be a great online resource for information about Boxing of yours. I know that you must be crazy about boxing but are you sure that you have all the information about boxing? Are you sure that you know everything? I just found out that Greek boxers in the past were naked while fighting. Did you know that?

At the site, you will find some of the facts really surprising like where the word “boxing” came from. If you don’t know the answer, this might be a good time to check this website out.

Did you know that Greek boxers would wear boxing gloves and wrappings on their arms below the elbows but were otherwise naked when competing? Well I just found out about that in this site.

The website features “Boxing History” “Boxing Technique” and “Famous Boxers”. I myself go and look for some info there.

Boxing History offers information on dozens of topics including something like the First Boxers, Types of Boxing, Boxing Technique, Boxing Scandals and much more.

So if this can interest you a bit, now why don’t you go to cutespz.com. You will be surprised that there is a lot of boxing stuff that you still don’t know. This is a perfect time to feed your brain about boxing. Go to the site and you will realize just like I did that we will never get enough of learning something new. Again the website is called “Boxing History” at http://cutespz.com

We are never too old to learn new stuff. If you think you know everything, you’re wrong.

Henry Armstrong

Tuesday, September 16th, 2008

Henry Melody Jackson Jr. or Henry Armstrong, the owner of the nicknames “Homicide Hank” and “Hurricane Henry”, was a world boxing champion. He was the only boxer who held three world championships at the same time (World Featherweight, World Lightweight and World Welterweight Champion) he won boxing championships in three or more different divisions (back then there were these many weight divisions like the present day.)

Six years ago in 2002, Ring Magazine ranked Armstrong as the 2nd greatest fighter of the last 80 years. The first was Sugar Ray Robinson and the third was the great Muhammad Ali.

Armstrong developed his boxing skills since he was little and started as a pro when he was 19. He didn’t start out just like many great boxers. Years by years he got improved. A former world champion like Juan Zurita and former champ Mike Belloside also lost to Armstrong not many years after he started the career.

In 1937 he did almost 30 KO winnings and became world Featherweight Champion by defeating Petey Sarron and made about 30 more KOs in 1938. He, 126, won over Barney Ross, 147 by unanimous decision, adding the world Welterweight Championship to his Featherweight belt. After that he decided he couldn’t make the Featherweight division anymore and left the crown vacant and started the welterweight a couple years later.
In 1945 he decided to end the boxing career. His registered record was 150 wins, 21 losses and 9 draws with 100 KO wins. However, his exact record isn’t really known because it is believed he fought some pay fights under the nickname of Melody Jackson.

He got to become a member of the International Boxing Hall of Fame.

You can check out his official website for a full biography and photos or Henry Armstrong at www.henryarmstrong.net , a dedicated site to him by his family.
