Welcome to MuayThaiSport.com/blog! Here we make you surprised by showing you how many boxing films have been made. Today’s film was directed by Karyn Kurama who did a really great job with this film and stared a new cast Michelle Rodriquez, Jamie Tirelli, Paul Calderon…
GIRLFIGHT is one of the movies I want to recommend. It is full of good spirit. It is one of very few movies about women boxing although women boxing was started quite some time already. I think it is very interesting and you won’t be disappointed from watching it.

Let’s take a look at the movie’s synopsis!
Diana Guzman (Michelle Rodriguez) is a tough high school girl with a violent issue. She has problems at school, and a father who belittles her. With her sad and lonely life, she needs to look for some way to find love, respect and a challenge. She finally finds all of those hopes in the boxing ring at a gritty Brooklyn gym where she starts the training. But the action is against her father’s will. However, eventually, she wins and earns the gym’s championship for female boxers.
It is Rodriguez’s first performance and she did a really great job making her character of Diana Guzman REAL. Guzman is supposed to be a teen girl who has her personality as her advantage. She’s pissed off. The anger makes her win. You can see when she’s pissed and get angry on her appearance. The film is a good example of family problem, social problems, and school problems that teenagers have to go through today. Girlfight is one great story with endurance, strength and willpower. You don’t want to miss this movie!
