After checking out a few other gyms I joined MK Boxing in November of 2008, as a complete beginner with no experience, just looking to get into shape. I was surprised to see what a non-intimidating environment it was. Members of all skill/experience levels are made to feel very welcome by the staff as well as the other members. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. It's very modern and very clean, and they have lots of different equipment available, as well as locker rooms with showers. There are a variety of classes available at different times of day so you can fit them into your schedule, and the number of classes you can take each week is unlimited, unlike a lot of other gyms. You get a great workout in any of the classes. When I've joined "regular" gyms in the past I've had to talk myself into going each day, and often found excuses not to go. Since joining MK I look forward to going any day I can possibly fit it in to my schedule. Learning a new skill while getting a great workout is actually fun and beats getting on the treadmill at a regular gym any day. I would highly recommend MK Boxing to anyone, regardless of experience or skill level.
